Skill School
Thank God It’s Friday!
Time to roll up our sleeves and pause from traditional academics to focus on learning by doing. Friday Skill School is especially powerful for middle schoolers and teenagers because they’re asking a mission-critical question, “What am I good at?”

These classes answer that question. Kids who struggle in government schools and traditional classrooms can discover their hidden strengths here. That can influence how they see themselves everywhere else.
Skill School students are offered a rotation of hands-on courses that build self-reliance by the grace of God. Classes are mostly project-based, meaning students will be doing the work, not just learning about it. They'll also attend field trips and have visits from experts in the field.
This isn’t just enrichment. This is preparation—for adulthood, for responsibility. For life.

The lineup of Fall 2026 Skill School Classes are:

Fall 2026:

CARPENTRY: students learn how to measure accurately, use tools safely, follow plans, and finish what they start. They see math come alive in inches and angles, and they experience the pride of building something with their own hands.

GARDENING: Let's sow for a late summer early/fall harvest. Students will learn how to create a raised bed garden, cultivate soil, create compost, and nurture sprouts.

Spring 2026:

PUBLIC SPEAKING: Build voice and presence. Students practice speaking clearly, confidently, and respectfully—skills that protect self-esteem and open doors for a lifetime.​​​
Skill School Payment Terms

Skill school classes cost: $200/month per student for each class

Each class runs for one semester
-
10% percent discount available for siblings
-
10% discount on skill school classes for students enrolled in at least one core class
-
All class payments due on the 15th of the month prior to the start of the class. Students are not permitted to attend class until full payment is received.
